One of the new features of CINEMOOD TV LTE-simcard support.
The card slot is located on the back of the device and opens up like most modern smartphones. After installing the SIM card, to activate the LTE mode, you need to turn off wi-fi and go to LTE - SETTINGS / NETWORK INTERNET and turn on Cellular Data.
Section "SIM Info" displays the status of data transfer.
CINEMOOD TV charge level
Unlike the previous generation of CINEMOOD, which have fixed brightness settings, CINEMOOD TV has different modes that affect the rate of battery discharge.
For example, it will run up to 4 hours with local (preloaded) content at the lowest brightness setting (which is still roughly on par with the previous generation) and will drain faster at higher settings with streaming services like Netflix and YouTube (about 2 hours at maximum brightness).
For more efficent charge usage, please follow these tips:
- To use charge more efficently, please use pre-loaded content (you can upload your own files to your CINEMOOD from flash-drive or laptop);
- Use auto brightness settings at Energy Savind section in your Settings;
- Watching video in high resolution will drain the battery faster (1080p and more), the optimal resolution for CINEMOOD TV is 720p. The resolution of the optical module is 854x480;
- Also unlike the previous gen, it allows you to charge your CINEMOOD while using it without any limitations, from a powerbank for example.
General recommendations:
- You can use any adapters (without reference to the brand) with a voltage of 5W / 2.4A. The 5W adapter can be used to charge the device when it is off, the charging time will double.
- If you want faster charging use an adapter of 10W
- If you want charge while watching we recommend an adapter 12W
Image and focus
How to adjust the focus?
You can do it on the right panel of the CINEMOOD and also in our mobile application ‘CINEMOOD’, which you can download in Google.Play and Apple Store.
How can I change the brightness?
There is not possible to make the projection brighter by using the settings of the CINEMOOD device (for previous generation). The brightness will depend on the brightness of the lighting of the room or from the lighting outside.
CINEMOOD TV has several brightness settings, including automatic mode, which adjusts brightness depending on charge level. To change brightness settings, please go to Settings - Energy Saving.
Ghost Image (Optical particularly)
1) Do you see a purple dot on a dark image? Don’t worry, your CINEMOOD is not defective – it’s an optical peculiarity of the mini-cinema. It appears solely on a dark background.
